NOVA Refractories A.D. (NOVA), was founded in December 2013 following which it acquired the existing refractory plant and assets in Pehchevo, Macedonia. The factory itself exists since 1949, when it was established as a state company named “Crvena Zvezda”. In 2004 the factory was privatised. The current shareholders of NOVA acquired the assets under an execution procedure at the far end of 2013. Currently, having over 65 years’ experience in manufacturing high-quality refractory materials, the factory has significantly developed by expanding the range of products and increasing the production levels by inculcating modern production techniques following necessary capex spending made by the Shareholders.
